Traditional Roles Forever?

The exhibition showcases historical roles of men and women along with their contemporary counterparts in relation to legitimizing gender clichés.

The main question is if there used to be traditional roles for men and women at all. Among archaeological findings, were some internationally significant temporary loans. However, these indeed indicate that the exhibition is carried out in cooperation with the prehistory and early history department of the University of Basel.
